You can trust Secor. We have direct control of the whole production cycle: every unit is monitored so as to guarantee quality, reliability and safety to Buyers and Consumers. Sector considers transparency in relationships a must: we invite all our interlocutors to visit the premises where our safety footwear, both for the workplace and for health and safety, which is appreciated the world over is produced. The Italian industrial complex of Bagnoli di Sopra (PD) occupies 15,000 sqm of covered space and 210 people. This is where footwear in bi-density PU, mono-density PU, PU-rubber, PU-TPU is produced. The plant in Romania, which is managed by Italian technicians and specialized Rumanian collaborators, extends over a covered space of 10,000 sqm and employs 300 people in the production of shoes in bi-density PU and mono-density PU.
Technology
We have developed specific Know-How which makes it a leader in direct injection onto the outsole sector. This technology developed in Italy in the 70s and marked the evolution of sports footwear: the liquid polyurethane is injected into the mold where the outsole is lodged, it solidifies and makes it one with the sole. The outsole is bagged, with a particular “strobel” stitching in elastic materials. Each Secor safety boot or safety shoe for work becomes a lightweight, flexible and extremely durable shoe.
Research
Future without research is just not possible. We believe in experimentation, and we have engaged in this in a concrete and constant manner for what regards protective footwear and health and safety at work. The Orion Group, which produces Secor safety boots & workwear invests 10% of its turnover into research, filing an average of 12 patents a year: this is how the safety shoes of the future are born. The beating heart of the company is the Research and Development Department which avails itself of the partnership of universities and European research centres. Here 30 technicians design innovative, customized, technical solutions, producing 1,500 new models of evolutionary shoes and 20,000 pairs of prototypes and samples.
Comfort & Design
Design is an idea, it is everywhere, but it must stem from the necessities of the user. For what regards Secor, the design is aimed at transforming beauty into functional technology for safety, ergonomics and comfort at work. The Fashion Development Lab of the Orion Group, our parent company, is made up of specialists in the fashion, style and design sectors, with the task of continually monitoring the evolutionary dynamics of tendencies in the various markets, including that of safety footwear and safety and protection products. The result is the development of collections which are highly technological, beautiful and which guarantee the highest standards of reliability, comfort and safety. This is why more than 3,500,000 people entrust their feet, their protection and their wellbeing to us.
